develop own website

jancooney.com

This site launched in 2003 as a place for my high school students to find daily assignments. Now I use it to publish some of my personal projects and photography. This space is also maintained to house two parked domains, pmyearbook.com, which publishes spring events for Perry Meridian High School, and southsidehistory.com, which showcases past projects of my honors classes.

Whether in a rural setting or a city, every once in awhile I find my inner Thoreau and stop long enough to notice the world around me.

The challenge of capturing personalities of friends and family through both staged and candid photos has always brought me joy.

Being a "wallflower" and capturing moments for others to enjoy has always given me a purpose in my photography.

I enjoy designing my own shoes and clothing for concerts, organizations, and my fandoms.

LEGO engineering brings me relaxation, joy, and a trove of unique gifts to create for my friends.

Using photoshop and a color laser printer allows me to create cards, gifts, and mementos.
